Pilates Power Gym Review

Let's review the Pilates Power Gym . . .

Pilates was introduced to the world in the early part of the 20th century in Germany by Joseph Pilates.  The popularity of this unique, powerful form of exercise soon spread across the world, and was typically taught in studios.

But it can be expensive--or simply inconvenient--to attend fitness classes at a gym or receive private instruction at a studio. The Pilates Power Gym Reformer offers a convenient, affordable way to get a high quality Pilates workout in the comfort of your home.

This scaled down reformer can be an effective tool for developing the muscles, thereby helping in balancing the body and giving support to the spine. It is designed to provide a comprehensive workout and give you the famous "Pilates body."

Let's take a closer look at what this reformer machine offers  . . .

Pilates Power Gym Review

This Pilates reformer, like the more expensive machines found in studios, can be used to help you sculpt and tone your entire body, from the calves to the thighs, hips, abs, and arms, and up to the shoulders.

It's well-built, too.  The machine has a durable, carbon-steel frame, and can accomodate a maximum user weight of up to 300 lbs.  It has padded handles for a comfortable grip, and foot straps for extra stability as you perform your routine.

The equipment is designed to encourage natural, smooth movements.  Even if you're a Pilates novice, you should be able to perform the exercises easily on this reformer machine, and maintain proper form throughout.

The cords offer four resistance levels.  You can easily adjust them to suit your own preference and strength.

There is also an option for a quick height change, which is essential to get high-caliber strength training.  You can adjust the height of both the glideboard, and the incline.

The equipment comes with a workout DVD and a nutritional guide to healthy eating.

One of the strongest points of this machine are its compact dimensions. It measures 56" X 17.75" X 13" and weighs just around 61 lbs when assembled.

Transport wheels allow for easy manuevering, and considering the small footprint, you can easily roll it into a closet, or under a bed.

Interested in more intensive upper-body strengthening? Look into the optional push-up bar attachment.

Assembly out of the box is quick and painless; a point worth considering when we're talking about fitness equipment.

The Pilates Power Gym is covered by a 90-day warranty.

Summary

Consumer reviews on the Pilates Power Gym are quite positive. Users enjoy the low-impact workout and the compact design. Even those experienced in Pilates remark that this machine is a good alternative to studio classes. Worth serious consideration.
