Proform Power 995 Treadmill - Consumer Review

I am a personal trainer certified through NASM and this is the best treadmill hands down! Proform produces reliable treadmills at a price that is unbeatable.

In October 2005, we bought the Proform 930i and it was a very reliable treadmill. I ran on it 6 days a week no slower than 8 miles an hour. I beat up on the treadmill. We even had a house fire and the whole ceiling collapsed on it and it worked fine afterward for 4 more years. The 930i went caput on me 2 weeks ago due to an electrical problem. We got it working again but it only goes to 6.0 speed which won't cut the mustard for me. I'm hard core.

So we upgraded to the Power 995 and this is better than any gym treadmill. I feel like I'm running on air and I love how heavy duty and secure it is. It comes with all the bells and whistles which I don't use but might someday just for the heck of it. It's a space saver which is nice but very sturdy like a gym treadmill. The only way you can make this treadmill better is to equip it with a TV. I don't care about that stuff though. I care about performance, reliability, and PRICE/value. This IS the best treadmill and I'll gladly debate anyone who says otherwise. I consider myself a treadmill expert.

On another note, my friend bought a Precor (commercial) that comes with nothing the Proform comes with and she paid double what I paid only to have it break within a month and had to pay $500 for repairs.
